"Growing our Great Game"
The WAFC employ a District Manager and Development Officer to grow the game in the Swans District (staff are based at the Swan District Football Club, SDFC).
Currently, the Swans District region includes suburbs from Bassendean up to Bindoon, down to Pickering Brook and as far as Wundowie in the Perth Hills. The Swans District caters for over 80 Primary and Secondary Schools within the region.
The District staff oversee all components of game development including, Umpires, Coaches, Volunteers, Clubs, Female, Multicultural, Schools, AFL School Ambassadors, Auskick and the Junior Football Competition.
New Football based programs and initiatives are delivered throughout the year within the community to promote our great game.
